The Black Sox got a complete game and the winning rbi in the top of the 7th out of Brad Wiehoff to defeat Avon 2-1 in exhibition play on Friday night in Avon.

The Black Sox defeated the St Joe Saints in Lakewood league action on Sunday in Freeport 4-1. The Black Sox got a complete game victory out of Danny Beste. Beste gave up only 1 earned run on 5 hits to earn his first victory on the year. The Black Sox improve to 2-0 on the year.

Black Sox defeat Becker, 18-3
The Black Sox pounded out 18 runs on 19 hits to defeat Becker in Lakewood league action 18-3. Kyle Resser lead the way with two homers and 5 RBI.

Due to rain the Black Sox home opener vs the Sauk Rapids Cyclones has been postponed. At the time on this article no makeup date has been set.

New website
Hey everybody,
Just wanted to let you know that yes this is the Freeport website. I am in the process of updating it so we can easily update it during the year. Expect big changes over the next week or so.
